Aston Rothbury’s 20th Anniversary On the occasion of our Company’s 20th anniversary, we would like to welcome you all to our brand new web site, which happens to coincide with a modern re-branding of our business. We would like to think that this web site is synonymous with our business. We hope it’s easy to understand, informative, and treats you with respect and intelligence, without bluffing our way through, with meaningless jargon. If there is anything here, which you do not like, or if you believe there is a message we should be putting across, then please let us know. We believe that we have an excellent range of products and services, which we are proud to offer with the strongest customer service. Those who have known us in the past will notice the addition of new services. We also hope you notice, both through the site and through direct contact with our staff, an exciting new vigour, which we aim to enhance our existing reputation for excellent customer service and, at the same time, assist our customers in the development of their own businesses.

Aston Rothbury licenses allFAC from Surecomp
As part of our commitment to provide the best for our customers and to be ahead of the game on IT solutions, we are delighted to announce the signing of an agreement between Aston Rothbury and Surecomp, which means that we shall become the very first user of Surecomp’s JAVA J2EE receivables management (factoring) solution. Implementation of allFAC will take place between May and August, at which point we will be ready to go live. To put this in perspective, Surecomp’s customer base includes major banks and financial institutions throughout the World, so to be chosen to help pioneer this exciting project, is a great honour to us.

This agreement builds on a relationship of 13 years between our two companies. It will be ideally suited for internet enablement which fits our strategy of up to date multi-level communication with our clients, allowing easier integration with client systems and a far enhanced system for management control, both internally for Aston’s and for our customers.

The introduction by Aston Rothbury of a range of products designed to finance any company asset, is a major coup for our business. You can now come to us, as a one-stop shop for all your asset finance needs; be it HP or lease finance for vehicles, plant and equipment, or even commercial mortgages for property. If you or your clients are contemplating management buyout or company acquisition, and need a range of finance that will sit neatly together, then come and talk to us.

Credit Control only service (or Outsourced credit management)
Whatever term you use to describe credit control and debt collection, we do it as professionally as anyone. Ed Johnston, our Head of Collections is proud to throw any statistic you like to demonstrate that Aston Rothbury will reduce your average debtor days significantly, if we manage your sales ledger. The likelihood also will be less bad debts, debtor protection if it is needed, and a reduced salary bill should you entrust us to be your credit controller rather than employing or overstaffing your own department.

As professional sales ledger managers, we are happy to promote this service on a stand-alone basis. Of course if finance is also required then that can be added at any time.

It has been delightful to have been involved in the creation of this web site. We created a number of ideas and in only 4 months we have a completed web site, new corporate image, a new direction and wider product range from which to build in the future. Particular thanks go to Tony at Speight London who created the design. Other than that, all the content was written and edited ‘in house’ by our own staff, with a particular wish to avoid jargon, and offer a clean and simple message, which centres on a people business.
